Fine art offers a different way of seeing. Through charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and oil, these works explore atmosphere, light, nature, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.
These works span charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and oil, each exploring atmosphere, nature, and the emotional connection we feel to place. While photography remains my primary medium, painting and drawing offer another way to slow down, observe, and interpret the world around us.
Deborah, this Charcoal #9 is Something Out Of The Wild! Absolutely, a measurable amount of feeling, right down thru the muscles of the legs, that shows Strength thru Beauty, allowing for a Steadfast Character!!!
Deborah, hats off to ya‼️👍💯
I love you crazy talented girl. ❤️You've unearthed something totally innate in yourself. And it was born totally formed already. This horsey tho...it's supernatural. I may want this print.
Love how you did the Mane framing the face! Awesome!
You really are, great work love the feel on this cold day.

Woah! Oh my gosh this girl is so annoying. First, she designs award winning hi-end stunning kitchens and master bathroom suites for 20 years. Then one day she decided, “Nah. Been there, done that”. So she she decides she wants to take pictures and buys a car load of equipment and starts taking snaps of some of the most stunning glimpses of nature on earth. Okay. I get it. She gifted me a photo shoot of my finished work in 2012 and spent 45 minutes setting up the best lighting scenario. Geez. Even my shoelaces were well lit. Then a few years later she is bored and “wants to paint” and picks up a brush and creates landscapes Bob Ross would applaud. That’s right. Just picked up a brush. Now I want to know, who the hell gave her some charcoal? Do not tell her there are Pastels! 🥰

I would like to be in that farmhouse by the fireplace right now. With a great book and your good food. Lol

Deb, you are an endless fountain of inspiration, determination, and vision for all things beautiful! Amazing work, my friend!

Wow. Yes, indeed. It is quite beautiful considering you have only spent 10 minutes in this new hobby. If you get bored maybe you can volunteer to restore the Sistine Chapel ceiling? Hmmm?

Wow! I thought this was a photograph at first. I love owls, they were my dad's thing and he passed a year and a half ago. I'm drawn to owl pictures. Beautiful!

Obviously she enjoys her work! Very artistic and connected with each piece she creates. Her range and knowledge of different artistic elements is evidenced in her work. From photography, to pastel , to charcoal each piece brings one a sense of beauty and emotion!
